I had a slight uptick when I did the "Stupid Seller" videos. Do not want to limit myself to only that type of content.



In this video I talk about things I really love about YouTube (YOU - the viewers and friends) and what I do not like about YouTube (the garbage that gets forced on people through the trending page and suggested videos). I relate this to junk food vs healthy food. A large portion of YouTube viewers are children and children choose the junk food over quality. They want the silly and crazy content. While obviously not all of that type of content is bad, some is outright inappropriate for kids and some I feel is unnatural and demeaning. Each person has a right to make the content they feel is beneficial for them, but why does YouTube have to suggest it a million times more than quality content. The discrepancy on these is staggering - one video will get 100s of millions of views and another on the same subject will only get 100s.

Brick Roller Coaster MOC Great American Scream Machine SFOG CDX Blocks

We have build our first MOC using the CDX Blocks brick Roller Coaster kits. These LEGO compatible sets are a really great building system from Coaster Dynamix. The first roller coaster we have built is based on the Great American Scream Machine at Six Flags Over Georgia. My son (TheyMIghtBeBricks) helped with the construction. We still have some bugs to work out as we learn the best building techniques.

So Mattel (Fisher Price) has come out with the new Thomas & Friends Wood – a replacement of the very popular Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway. The new designs have far fewer details than the old Wooden Railway models. The fans have been very disappointed. Not sure of the reasons for the changes, but it seems this will only further contribute to the demise of Mattel & Thomas Toys.

Why the change? The wooden railway line has been so popular for 25+ years. The lack of paint is very disappointing. Is the paint missing for a savings of cost? safety concern? Who know? The only good things is they did not change the magnets to the cheap plastic couplers and the faces on the characters seem good. Other than that, there is been great outrage from the fans in the short time my video has been posted.

Where will Mattel go from here?

It took a long time looking but we finally found Gordon’s coaches that Bachmann Trains made. We found these on eBay and it was the cheapest price I have seen for the pair since I have been looking. There was also another seller that had the complete set with box and track for a little more, but since I do not have room to store the box (I Have thrown away all my HO Scale boxes) I decided to get the cheaper option

Not So Excellent Emily LOZ Blocks Thomas and Friends Brick Built

Finally have finished building the horrible built. Love Emily. Hate LOZ Blocks. This is one of - no it is 0- the worst brick built design I have ever built. When completed sections are just floating and not attached. Some pieces only held by one stud. A disaster and torture to build. Loz blocks is apparently of knock-off brand in that the Thomas & Friends Trademark is no where to be found and the bricks are clearly copies of LEGO bricks, but on a smaller scale. I built this over several days. What a pain. But what do you think?

We run Disney Cars Lightning McQueen Slot Car and Back to the Future Delorean Time Machine.  The HO Scale train track and slot car crossing is made by Tyco. The slot car tracks are both Tyco and Autoworld. We use adapter tracks to join them together. The track is by Bachmann Trains as is Annie & Clarabel and Thomas. Except the crossing.
